How Do Offline Organizations Evolve in O2O Era?

O2O era: small and flexible organizations

With the advance of O2O industry,O2O segments could be seen in local sub stations, and with the change of organizational goals, organizational structure has been improved again. For example, positions of local sub stations which grow fast are not called BD and sales, but called operation. They do not lease office buildings, but a street store with a parking lot which could both show themselves and have more interaction with the driver. Then they could maintain a state that the first line of staff could with the drive at any time.

There is one noteworthy organizational structure ueser -- Uber. It uses” city manager + operation + market “structure, those tree people complement each other to make the market more flexible. They separately responsible for local drivers, works related to client operations and the marketers are responsible for foreign brand linkage.

The advantage of small organizations is that they have high efficiency, however, the disadvantage is that a not suitable leader will ruin all the works at the city.

What is the ideal organization?

Ideal organizations are always follow the target of the organizations, if need more intensive particles, they will make the organizational units smaller; if stage changes occur, they will become to be moderate flexibility organizations and handle it,. Among them, the rapid communication and response mechanism is necessary, especially in the rapidly changing Internet industry. Since the target is difficult to quantify, to recruit appropriate employee and the devolution of powers are what they should do.

There is no perfect organization, only the continuous evolution of the organization. In addition, it is very important that whether there is potential to do the thing, or whether the business model itself is feasible. The development of the Internet is so fast that to verify a model just need a very short time.

Of course, we need to learn something from these failures, because there are so many companies failed because they do not learn from lessons. In the first three months of substation construction they simply pursue the number of on-line content so that a lot of garbage product are created, and in the later six months they pay a lot for the first three month.
